Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Ronaldo dispatched an aircraft laden with provisions, pharmaceuticals, and tents to those suffering from the seismic tremor in Turkey and Syria.

Today, Sunday, the British Daily Mail newspaper revealed the humanitarian action of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, player of the Saudi Al-Nasr team, to help those affected by the devastating earthquake that struck southern Turkey and northern Syria, last month.

The newspaper said that Ronaldo prepared a plane full of aid and sent it to the victims of the earthquake after he was deeply affected by the tragic scenes of the disaster that left thousands dead and injured.

She added that the Portuguese star paid for tents, food packages, pillows, blankets, beds, baby food, milk and medical supplies to help with humanitarian efforts.

And she indicated, according to Sputnik, that Ronaldo’s position will encourage other sports personalities to imitate him in the coming days and weeks.

And the newspaper stated that this position is usual for the Portuguese star, as he had previously donated $ 83,000 (£ 69,000) for the costs of a head surgery for a child.

He also donated $165,000 (£137,000) to help fund a cancer center in his native Portugal.

He also donated £1m to Portuguese hospitals during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
