Fire detectors will be installed free of charge in the houses of more than 2,000 large families in the Vologda region

The Governor’s Safe Home program has been implemented in the Vologda region since 2018. As part of this, autonomous fire detectors are installed free of charge in the houses and apartments of large families in the region, which react even to the slightest smoke.

According to Oleg Kuvshinnikov, head of the region, on his page on the social network, when the program was launched, devices appeared in the homes of almost two thousand families. They worked 89 times – with no tragic results.

In 2023-2024, such detectors will appear in the houses of another 2023 Vologda families with many children.
