Various festive events dedicated to International Women’s Day will take place in the Tver region. Area residents and guests are invited to concerts, exhibits and more.
March 7 at 6:30 p.m. and March 8 at 6:00 p.m. on the stage of the Tver Regional Philharmonic will host a concert called “Declaration of love” (6+). For women, the Governor’s choirs and the soloists of the Philharmonie will perform. Additionally, the themed event will take place on March 9. At seven o’clock in the evening, in the recreation center “Proletarka” spectators are invited to the concert “Take care of women” (6+).
On Wednesday, March 8, at 1:00 p.m., a museum and music program will begin at the Tver Regional Art Gallery. Guests will discover the women who were the muses of great artists of the 20th century. In turn, the Museum of Local Traditions in Tver, in partnership with the Annabelle studio, organizes a ballet festival, which will start at 12:00. Also on March 8 at 12:00, the Museum of Life in Tver will host a scrapbooking master class. Attendees of the event will also learn about the history of card.
In the local history museum of Toropets on International Women’s Day, the program “Wonderful, wonderful – a Russian woman” is planned. Visitors will be told about the history of this holiday, they will read poems dedicated to the beautiful half of humanity, and various competitions will also be held. An exhibition of Soviet cinema will take place at 3:00 p.m. at the VIEM House of Russia in Torzhok. Also, remember that on March 8, all women will be able to visit the Rzhev branch of the Victory Museum for free.
