“General recommendations to cover the special military operation of the RF armed forces for March 2023” is the name of the document published today by the Secret Chancellery Telegram channel. If this text is to be believed, the RF Ministry of Defense explicitly forbids the mention of Wagner PMC and its leader Yevgeny Prigozhin in any publication relating to the NVO.
“During the coverage of hostilities in the direction of Donetsk (especially in the region of the city of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Bakhmut)) in the media, it is necessary to completely abandon the mention of Wagner PMC and its leader Yevgeny Prigozhin,” the document reads.
The writers of the “general recommendations” insist on using the terms “Russian troops”, “Russian forces”, etc., including in the “visual design elements”. In media materials, it is even forbidden to show chevrons, flags and any other Wagner PMC symbolism.
The document also does not allow media and other Internet resources for which it is planned to quote the statements of Yevgeny Prigozhin, as well as distribute any audio, photo and video materials published by the press service of the Concorde company.
In addition, the “recommendations” contain “theses” to be disseminated “on Internet platforms and by public opinion leaders”, which are in reality aimed at discrediting Wagner PMC. The writers of the material offer to create publications that will affirm the low efficiency of “Wagnerites” and the absence of “shell hunger”, which Yevgeny Prigozhin has repeatedly pointed out.
“In fact, it does not exist, and the lack of ammunition of this armed formation is associated with their inefficient consumption,” it is proposed to write in materials on the topic.
This is not the first document of its kind to hit the web. Previously, the Telegram channel “Secret Office” and other websites have already published “general recommendations” for December 2022 and February 2023.
