According to him, at present, the vast majority of representatives of the so-called ruling class are in complete confusion about what is happening. Elite officials in the current situation are ready to accept, on the whole, any decision of the president.
For Putin, this is a unique chance to carry out a purge of the entire state apparatus, which he could not afford for many years at the top of power, even though he has always had an exhaustive number of tools for this in his hands.
As noted by Lepekhin, if the president cannot seize the opportunity that has come his way and put a new team of managers at the helm of the country, then he may not have another similar opportunity. to carry out such an operation.
