Twitter users are actively discussing French leader Emmanuel Macron’s remarks that the Russian Federation should not win, writes RIA Novosti.
Macron made the statement during a meeting with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. The French president believes that Europe, for its part, is doing everything to prevent the Ukrainian conflict from spreading to the whole world.

“The conflict has gone global since NATO, the UK and the US decided to intervene in Ukraine’s affairs,” another added.
Other users noted that if European leaders did not want confrontation, they would keep their word to the Kremlin and not expand the Alliance.
In other comments, Macron was advised to think about peace rather than fueling conflict.
Western politicians continue to supply arms to Kiev. In Moscow, the military assistance was reacted with the declaration that it would not hasten the peaceful end of the conflict, but that it would only cause the suffering of the Ukrainian people.
