Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Putin addresses participants at the launch of the countdown to the start of the first international “Future Games”

Russian leader Vladimir Putin addressed the participants as they kicked off the countdown to the start of the first International Games of the Future. The President of Russia called the tournament unique, noting that it hosts both esports and classic sports competitions.

“The man of the future is a harmonious man, developed both physically and intellectually. Sport is outside politics, it is designed to strengthen ties between peoples, to serve humanism and good,” said the head of state.

The countdown indicator for the Games of the future was launched by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko and the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The ceremony took place in Moscow on Manezhnaya Square.

The indicator counts down the time until the start of the competition, which starts in 300 days. The tournament will start on February 23, 2024 and end on March 2. Games will be held in Kazan in new disciplines using modern technologies, digital environment and physical activity. The competition prize will be $25 million.
