Chelyabinsk resident Ivan Vershok said he was not allowed to board a Pobeda airline flight because of a wheelchair battery. About this he said publication 74.RU.
According to Vershka, on March 2 he flew from Chelyabinsk to Moscow, and on the evening of March 4 he was supposed to return. The plane left for Chelyabinsk from Sheremetyevo airport.
“During check-in, the airport staff started checking my stroller and finding out the battery parameters. There was a technical specialist from the Pobeda airline, who said that I had a large capacity I tell them that I somehow flew to Moscow on the Pobeda, but in response I received: “You could buy a more powerful battery in Moscow,” says Vershok.
As the man notes, he did not change the battery in Moscow. Vershok says he asked Pobeda employees to give him an official written denial of transportation and a refund on the ticket, but they didn’t. As a result, friends bought Ivan a ticket for the next Aeroflot flight.
“I sat at the airport for 12 hours. Now I have sent an appeal to the prosecutor’s office to protect my violated rights,” Vershok stressed.
