130 films in competition and 20 films out of competition from 22 countries will be screened at the film forum in Grozny. By tradition, the work of Belarusian masters is widely represented.
“Golden Knight” was first held in 1992. Since 2010, it has brought together cinema, theater, music, literature and fine arts. The festival is held under the motto “For moral ideals. For the upliftment of the human soul”. Its vice-president is the laureate of the State Union Prize in the field of literature and art, People’s Artist of Belarus Vladimir Gostyukhin.
The Belarusian State Academy of Music will take part in the Golden Knight Music Festival, which will be held in Moscow and Kaliningrad.
The summer theater festival will be held in Yaroslavl. Forum participants will see the play “From Nekrasov to Nekrasov” of the Russian State Academic Drama Theater named after Fyodor Volkov, as well as performances from Belarus and CIS countries.
Its aim is to strengthen the traditions of realistic theater, the classical theater school.
The fine arts forum will open in Sevastopol with an exhibition of paintings “Memory Gates” and will continue in Moscow. Moscow will also host pottery and watercolor master classes at Sergei Andriyaka’s Academy of Watercolors and Fine Arts.
The organizing committee of the forum received 187 works from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Argentina, Serbia for participation in the literary competition.
