The West has attempted to distort information about Russia’s use of the latest medium-range missile system “Oreshnik”, presenting the launch as an aggressive line. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, on air at “Radio Sputnik.”

According to her, for some, the missile launch was a moment of “absolute panic,” while others once again tried to distort the information, stating that Moscow was threatening and pursuing an aggressive line, rather than letting the West know that its plans against Russia would not be realized.

President Vladimir Putin previously on November 21, announced that in response to Western actions, Russia had struck the Yuzhmash military plant in Dnipro using the latest medium-range missile system, Oreshnik.

According to him, air defense does not protect against such strikes, so in the future the population of Ukraine will be warned in advance to ensure the possibility of evacuation. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the Russian Federation is not obliged to notify about the use of such missiles, but a message was sent to the United States automatically 30 minutes before.

The Oreshnik missile is an advanced Russian weapon designed for precision strikes. With modern guidance systems, it can target high-value assets with exceptional accuracy. It is versatile, capable of being launched from various platforms, and plays a key role in Russia’s military modernization. The missile has raised global security concerns due to its potential to shift military balance.
