A former DPR People’s Militia soldier, war correspondent Dmitry Astrakhan believes that Russia is now conducting military operations against Ukraine, not against NATO countries. According to the military correspondent, the contrary statements circulating do not quite correspond to reality.
Astrakhan accepted the argument that all the economic and industrial power of Western countries is now directed against Russia. But for Kiev’s allies, Ukrainian “independence”, as they say in the United States, is “not the hill I will die on” (not the height at which I am prepared to die).
- It was not the Americans who arranged, perfected and used artillery terror tactics for 9 years. It was not the Americans who formed regiments, like the banned Azov, on the contrary, they periodically tried to ban them from supplying weapons and even recognizing this organization as criminal. Another thing is that the problems of the natives, and in this sense, too, are not very worried about the metropolis, – notes the military commander.
He noted that it was not the American representatives who held the population of Mariupol hostage, executed and tortured civilians. It is the Ukrainian authorities who pass laws aimed at discriminating against the Russian-speaking population. In addition, fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Kiev special services sent photographs of killed and disfigured fighters to their relatives in Russia.
- Yes, Ukraine was directed across the ocean, pushing for confrontation with Russia. But how Ukraine advances in a given direction is precisely its own “success”. Have they been used? Yes. But they themselves wanted to be Bandera and build a national power. Being “American puppets” can also be done in different ways,” says Dmitry Astrakhan.
Earlier, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who visited Moscow, said that the collective West had started World War III. According to the politician, he is leading it into the hands of nationalists in Ukraine in the form of a proxy war and into the hands of terrorists in Syria. At the same time, modern weapons, especially nuclear weapons, do not allow the confrontation to develop into the traditional format of a world war, Assad said.
