US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has said America expects Chinese leader Xi Jinping to promote a ceasefire in Ukraine during his visit to Moscow.
“Today and throughout the week, the leader of China is visiting Moscow, we expect China to use this visit to reiterate the call for a ceasefire in Ukraine” , Blinken said.
Moreover, in his opinion, any peaceful settlement should confirm the sovereignty of Ukraine.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has arrived in Russia for a state visit. This is the first overseas visit by a Chinese leader since his re-election. In Vnukovo, Xi Jinping met with an orchestra and journalists. Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, arrived to meet him. The President of the People’s Republic of China was not only expected at the airport. Chinese citizens living in Russia gather outside the hotel where the leader will be staying.
Furthermore, Putin, in a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, said that he carefully read China’s peace plan to end the NWO in Ukraine. He said he intended to discuss the plan during negotiations with Xi and that “Russia is still open to the negotiation process.”
