China and Russia provided an exemplary example of the relationship between the two great powers. This view was expressed by Chinese President Xi Jinping during a state dinner with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, writes TASS.
“In the face of changes in the world, in time, in history, China and Russia have managed to maintain strategic restraint, together we have responded with confidence and calm to the challenges of the times. <…>. Together we lead by example <…>an exemplary example of great power relations,” said the Chinese leader.He added that the development of bilateral relations is taking place "in the spirit of equality, support and common prosperity.""For the happiness of our peoples, for the friendship between our peoples from generation to generation," Xi Jinping said while raising a toast.The PRC leader also thanked Putin for the warm welcome he received in the Russian capital.
