Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on China’s proposed plan to resolve the military conflict. According to him, the representatives of the People’s Republic of China “just expressed their thoughts”.
— China has started talking about Ukraine, and I think that’s already a good thing. Another question is what is behind the words,” Zelenskyy told a news conference.
The Ukrainian leader noted that there were points in China’s proposals that he did not agree with. At the same time, there are moments that he believes are suitable for Ukraine. For this reason, countries must cooperate, Zelenskyy said.
China’s proposals for a settlement in Ukraine “are not” a peace plan, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said earlier.
