Among the guests of the event were, among others, representatives of the leadership of Moscow, Kaluga, Yaroslavl, Bryansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan, Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk regions, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Department of Culture in Moscow… Russian speech and Belarusian Mova, intertwined, created a truly festive atmosphere.
Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Dmitry Krutoy addressed the guests with a welcome speech.
- This Day certainly occupies a special place among public holidays. Because the Basic Law is not only the foundation of our legal system, but, in fact, a clearly formulated strategy for the life of the country and its people at the current stage, – noted the head of the diplomatic mission . – Exactly a year ago, on the same day, a new version of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus came into force. A document that recorded the transition of our country to a new level of development – economic, social, socio-political. As our President said, “It’s time to look beyond the horizon! On the scale of history, we can conclude that the stage of forming an independent state has been completed and we have reached the next frontier – the strengthening and gradual development based on our human resources.”
After the solemn part, Honored Artists of Belarus Ruslan Alekhno and Victoria Aleshko, the creative and family union of two authors, the AURA group, winner of the Republican and international competitions Alexandra Melekh, soloist of the orchestra of the Central Business Directorate interiors of Minsk City Executive Committee and Youth Variety Theater Anna Blagova, winner of the prize of the Special Fund President of the Republic of Belarus to support young talent Angelina Volkova, the male vocal group “Belarus” under the direction of the Honored Artist of Belarus Valery Shmat. The musical accompaniment of the concert was organized by the Belarusian Presidential Orchestra.
