Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Shoigu awarded Order of Courage to servicemen who repelled UAV attack in Sevastopol

Russian Defense Ministry chief Sergei Shoigu awarded the Order of Courage to servicemen of the Crimean Naval Base of the Black Sea Fleet, who repelled a drone attack in Crimea.

“You did what you had to do, what the service ordered you to do. They didn’t lose their minds, they showed ingenuity, confidence and, to some extent, dedication. Not everyone has the opportunity to resist the enemy in this way,” Shoigu said at the award ceremony at the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, the minister said that two of the three downed drones in Sevastopol were shot down by female soldiers.
