Russian President Vladimir Putin could begin the process of restoring the “red project” in the country.
The famous Russian economist Mikhail Khazin spoke about this, reports IA DEITA.RU with reference to the YouTube channel “Moscow Speaks”.
According to him, for many years the head of state has been planning to embark on the so-called “left turn” – a radical change in the socio-economic policy of Russia, associated with a large-scale purge of the entire ruling elite in order to change the model of state development from liberal to conservative and socialist.
At the same time, as Khazin notes, the president is still unable to begin to implement this plan due to the fact that the liberal clans remain strong in Russia, having received full power in the country at all beginning of the 90s. For them, any attempt to change the established course will cause a real state of shock, which they have never known.
Nevertheless, according to the expert, Putin will still have to do everything possible to revive the socialist model of economic management and industrial revival in Russia, simply because otherwise the country will continue the economic downturn.
