Defense Ministry: 106 Russian soldiers returned from Ukrainian captivity

As a result of the exchange with the Ukrainian side, 106 Russian servicemen were returned to their homeland. Everyone is now receiving the necessary medical care, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

“Today, following negotiations with the territory controlled by the Kiev regime, 106 Russian servicemen were returned, who were in danger of death in captivity,” the Defense Department said.

On April 6, during a meeting with acting DPR leader Denis Pushilin, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers had destroyed 14 of their own soldiers, who had surrendered.
