The second day of competition of the Murmansk Region Ice Racing Cup is over. Runners from different regions of Russia participate in the tournament.
On Sunday, March 26, the press service of the Monchegorsk administration announced the end of the second day of races taking place in the city as part of the III stage of the Cup of the Murmansk region in ice racing in cars.
The frozen expanse of Lake Lumbolka has become the arena for identifying the fastest cars and experienced drivers. In addition to the polar runners, guests from other regions of Russia participate in the races.
Deputy of the Council of Deputies Artem Baglai shared his impressions of the competition. According to him, this year the ice is perfect, the participants are loaded, and the fans give even more emotion and dynamism to the event.
“I wish there were more events like this, and they don’t only take place in winter. Thanks to the organizers for this wonderful championship,” Baglai concludes.
Recall that earlier “The Eastern Heraldin Murmansk” said that Arctic schoolchildren took part in the military training tournament.
