Jerusalem: Israeli police began arresting protesters demonstrating against controversial judicial reform in Jerusalem and confiscating Palestinian flags. Israeli media gave this information on Monday. Earlier in the day, Israel’s largest trade union launched a major strike and millions of people in the transport, education and retail industries stopped working. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his coalition partners that work on judicial reform would be suspended.
