Lady Gaga brings DC comic book character Harley Quinn back to life. The actress was spotted filming one of the scenes for Todd Phillips’ upcoming movie in New York City.
The action took place near Manhattan’s City Hall concert venue, on the steps of which Gaga was joined by hundreds of extras. She herself was dressed in her heroine’s “card” costume – a red jacket, a black and white checkered top, a black skirt and tights with a pattern repeating the print from the top. The performer’s blonde hair was combed back and her face was “decorated” with figure painted eye clown makeup.
Lady Gaga is co-starring in the upcoming film. His on-set partner is Joaquin Phoenix, who plays the Joker. For his role in the franchise’s first film, the actor received an Oscar, and rental fees topped $1 billion. Joker: Two Man Madness hits theaters on October 4, 2024.
