1.5 thousand women are engaged in small and medium enterprises in the Kursk region

Sergey Brezhnev, chairman of the Committee for Social Protection of the Kursk Population, held a meeting with members of the Women Leaders organization.

The local government’s press service reported that 1,500 women are currently engaged in small and medium-sized businesses in the Nightingale area.

They have been actively associated with the development of volunteering, social entrepreneurship, as well as various educational projects.

Women’s leadership in Kursk is represented by the interregional organization for the support of social and civil initiatives “Women-Leaders”.

During the meeting, they discussed the receipt of social assistance on the basis of a social contract in the sense of “the implementation of individual entrepreneurial activities”.
