Medical workers will be supported in the Novgorod region

On Tuesday, March 28, a regular meeting of the Health, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Committee was held. Meeting participants discussed health issues in the region and considered draft regional laws ahead of the upcoming meeting of the Novgorod Regional Duma.

As a result of the meeting, the participants approved several bills.

These included plans to confer the status of “Novgorod doctor” in 2023, allowing doctors to receive 500,000 rubles and to extend the validity of support measures to young medical professionals, helping to qualify for monthly payments in the amount of 15,000 rubles.

As well as the law on the extension of the validity of additional support measures for certain categories of health workers and the extension of the validity of social support measures for citizens studying under higher education programs – residency programs

Committee members will propose all these bills at a meeting of the Novgorod Regional Duma on Wednesday, March 29. This was reported in the press service of the Novgorod region administration.

Earlier, The Eastern Heraldin Veliky Novgorod said he wanted to include the costs of installing smart meters in receipts from Russians.
