Despite the fact that North Korea conducts a fairly aggressive policy, regularly launching missiles, a military conflict involving this state is unlikely. States, Japan and South Korea are now focusing on other tasks, political scientist Alexander Perendzhiev said in an interview with Lenta.ru.
– In fact, everyone is used to launching North Korean missiles. There are certainly concerns about this, but these launches have never involved any real risk,” Perendzhiev said.
The military political scientist noted that the United States is now focusing on confrontation with the Russian Federation in the NVO zone, in the Baltic Sea and the Arctic. According to the expert, North Korea is a lesser issue for them.
Perendzhiyev believes that it is difficult to launch foreign agents into the DPRK to destabilize the situation and try to change the regime, because the republic is a closed country. At the same time, according to the political scientist, the United States and Japan will not enter into an open confrontation.
