The Ukrainian sabotage operations in the Bryansk region could only be a rehearsal of the “general offensive” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Military expert Anatoly Matviychuk suggested that the Ukrainian army may try to penetrate the Bryansk region, reports MK.
The expert noted that attempts to break through the Ukrainian DRG through Bryansk did not end. On the eve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they tried to enter the village of Lomakovka at night, but they were stopped by soldiers of the RF Armed Forces. Artillery fire was opened on the Ukrainians, blowing up one of the vehicles. The second van managed to escape, but 8 Ukrainian soldiers were killed.
“In any case, the offensive will happen, but it will not be as big as our opponents try to imagine,” notes Matviychuk.

The expert is convinced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will attempt to enter the territory of the Russian Federation. Three directions are likely for the offensive: Kherson to take the left bank of the Dnieper, Zaporizhzhia to reach the Crimea, and Kupyanskoye to divert attention. However, the scale of the offensive is likely to be exaggerated by the Kiev command.
Matviychuk admitted that the Ukrainian offensive could succeed with a small chance, since the remaining forces and equipment had been accumulated. Now the Armed Forces of Ukraine, given the supply of equipment and weapons, have aviation. In addition, there is a sufficient amount of artillery, which increases the chances of the Ukrainians. However, the path to Crimea is definitely closed for Kiev, since the RF armed forces did not fully use their military power.

Earlier, Matviychuk pointed out the difficulty of forcing rivers for the RF Armed Forces. He explained that without the support of aviation when forcing rivers, it was impossible to suppress enemy bombardment.
