Unbreakable cape shields will be created for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operators who control drones in the Special Operation Zone. Donetsk developers have begun to create such equipment, reports RIA Novosti.
Participants in a special military operation requested such protection. For attack aircraft, a cape shield will help avoid fragments from explosions of most small munitions, said Mikhail Kondrus, director of the 3D Techno company.
He explained that the gear could also double as a raincoat. This will allow operators operating drones on the front line to hide behind.
Russian manufacturers promise that the shield will weigh about three kilograms and will belong to the first class of protection. It also has built-in protection.
Earlier, the “regional head” wrote that a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed the quality of body armor of the Ukrainian army.
