Polar servicemen worked to search for submarines in the Barents Sea

In the Murmansk region, in the waters of the Barents Sea, training sessions were held for soldiers of the Northern Fleet. The military worked to search for submarines from helicopters at the combat training grounds.

During training, Ka-27 helicopters were used. They helped track the submarines using radar and sonar aids. In addition, the pilots, after working with the ships, carried out flight missions for the flight crews.

According to the press service of the Northern Fleet, the fighters were carefully prepared before training. The soldiers have received all the necessary training. The equipment was fully operational and the crew performed the tasks without incident. Such work is done regularly in the Arctic.

Earlier, The Eastern Heraldin Murmansk said that the tanker Akademik Pashin returned to the capital of the Murmansk region after a long journey.
