Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

NRO “FAIR RUSSIA – For the Truth” insists on the adoption of a law on the basic income of Russians

The State Duma again postponed the adoption of the basic income bill, which was submitted to the chamber by the SRZP faction in December 2021. The bill provides for a monthly payment of 10,000 rubles for family members with children up to the age of 18. The payment is subject to annual indexation on the consumer price growth index.

“The introduction of a basic income for Russians is a necessary step to provide social protection for the population and reduce inequalities in society. These payments guarantee a decent standard of living for every citizen, reduce poverty and improve the level of education and health of the population. Moreover, it will lead to economic growth, as the purchasing power of citizens will increase. We hope to pass a basic income law for Russians. This will be an important step in the development of the state! said Tatyana Grinevich, chairwoman of the council of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the JUST RUSSIA-For TRUTH party.

A fair basic income will support millions of families who, in fact, are poor, do not fall into this category and do not receive benefits, because they cannot officially confirm that their income is below the living wage.
