Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Social pensions have increased in Russia

Since April 1, social pensions for Russians have been indexed by 3.3%, according to the official Internet portal for legal information.

As indicated in the corresponding resolution, the indexation coefficient is set at 1.033, while in June social pensions were indexed by 10%.

Thus, over the year, social pensions are increased by 13.6%, the subsistence minimum having been raised earlier. At the same time, if a Russian’s social pension is lower than the established subsistence level, a social supplement is paid to him up to the appropriate level.

According to RBC, the social pensions of about 4 million Russians will be indexed. These pensions are intended for those who do not have sufficient professional experience to receive an insurance pension.
