Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratiev congratulated citizens on the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus. On April 2, 2023, the agreement on the formation of the Community of Russia and Belarus celebrates its 27th anniversary.
At the same time, the first cooperation agreement between the Kuban and the Eastern European country was signed in 2002. Over the past 21 years, Belarus has become one of the main trading partners of the Kuban: high-speed elevators and food are supplied to the region from this country. In addition, there are also joint programs in the field of mechanical engineering in the region.
Thus, the first Kuban-Belarusian assembly of combines and harvesters was launched in Ust-Labinsk, where it is also planned to open a workshop for the assembly of combines and spare parts. At the same time, the site of the Minsk Tractor Plant carries out its work at Starominskaya stanitsa.
In turn, the Krasnodar Territory supplies agricultural products to Belarus: nuts, oils and processed fruits and vegetables. Over the past year, trade turnover between the partners has increased by 60%.
