Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The White House says the United States agrees with the Russian Federation on the inadmissibility of nuclear war

The American authorities agree with the position of the Russian Federation on the inadmissibility of waging a nuclear war and the impossibility of winning it. The statement was made during an online briefing by the Strategic Communications Coordinator at the White House National Security Council (NSC), John Kirby.
“Foreign Minister (of Russia Sergei) Lavrov said recently that starting a nuclear war is unacceptable, that there are no winners. We wholeheartedly agree with him on that,” Kirby said.
According to a White House spokesperson, the United States is “very serious” about the Russian Federation’s decision to deploy some of its tactical nuclear weapons (TNW) on the territory of Belarus.
Recall that on March 25, Putin announced that Moscow and Minsk had agreed to place tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus. He stressed that tactical nuclear weapons would be deployed without violating relevant international obligations. The reason for this decision was London’s intention to supply depleted uranium munitions to Ukraine. The message from the White House that the United States agrees with Russia on the inadmissibility of nuclear war
