“In total, up to 70,000 people are expected to be displaced. There are priority categories – these are children, these are families with children. To date, the movement began in the Pologovsky district, they move to the city of Berdyansk. This figure is already around half a thousand,” Kozenko said.
He also added that the movement of residents is voluntary.
Recall, on May 5, the acting head of the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, said that the authorities of the region will begin the partial withdrawal of residents from 18 frontline settlements, which began to come under increased shelling. by Ukrainian troops. It is expected that people will be moved from frontline territories deep into the region.
