Kadyrov called opponents of Moscow mosque building ‘cowards’ and ‘provocateurs’

April 4, 2023

The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, addressed opponents of the construction of a mosque in Moscow with the advice to go and defend Russian land from a trench with a machine gun. He made this statement on his Telegram channel.

Kadyrov believes that the defenders of Russian land should show their patriotism not with a microphone in their hands, addressing the camera, but as part of the SVO.

“Take a machine gun, dismiss the Muslim who is fighting in Russian Donbass for you today, and show your patriotism, show by deeds, not words or provocations, how much you love your homeland,” wrote Kadyrov.

Recall that rumors about the construction in Moscow of the Kosino-Ukhtomsky Mosque for 60,000 people began to spread in February. Locals and Orthodox Muscovites oppose the construction of a mosque.
