Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on the words of the head of the Human Rights Council under the President of Russia, Valery Fadeev, who advocated the closure of Wikipedia on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Before closing access to Wikipedia in Russia, it is necessary to create an analogue that will contain verified information, believes Peskov.
“In different forums and at different levels, the view has repeatedly been expressed that we need an analogue of Wikipedia. (…) We know that Wikipedia contains many distortions, untruths, historical and factual errors,” Peskov said.
