Former US President Donald Trump has been arrested at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. The American politician will be detained until charges are brought, reports CNN.
It is reported that during the arrest, the former US president will be fingerprinted. It has not been established whether his photograph will be taken at the station.
After the arrest, Trump will not be handcuffed, but will remain under the supervision of US law enforcement. The ex-president will then be taken to court to be sentenced. Trump would be the first president in US history to be criminally prosecuted.
Earlier, Donald Trump said Russian President Vladimir Putin would take “all of Ukraine”. The politician said he was convinced that if he were in power, the military conflict would not break out.
