Moscow’s Tverskoy Court found People’s Artist of Russia, actor Dmitry Nazarov guilty in the case of discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, reports TASS.
The court sentenced him to a fine of 50,000 rubles. The case against the artist was registered in the Tverskoy court on March 21.
Earlier it became known that Dmitry Nazarov and his wife, actress Olga Vasilyeva, were fired from the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater. This information was confirmed by the deputy director of the theater for public relations Vadim Vernik. He also clarified that the decision to dismiss Nazarov and Vasilyeva was taken by Konstantin Khabensky after a personal conversation with the artists.
In addition, the director of the film “12 Chairs” Petr Zelenov said that People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Dmitry Nazarov will be replaced in the new film adaptation of the picture. He added that the scenes with this actor will be re-shot. In the new picture, Nazarov was supposed to play the role of Kisa Vorobyaninov.
