If you want to cook simple rice to surprise your family, we offer you a recipe for such a dish. This tasty chicken rice is easy to prepare and delicious thanks to the aromatic herbs and spices, in our case saffron.
A good stir-fry of peppers, onions and tomatoes, cooked in the same oil in which the chicken is fried, and a hearty homemade broth are key to the success of this simple dish. Remember that saffron gives off its best aroma when first fried in a pan, it will give the rice a spectacular flavor and color.

Ingredients
300g rice
250g minced chicken
1 green pepper
1 onion
Saffron
300 g crushed tomatoes
900 milliliters of chicken broth
Pepper
1 sprig of thyme
1 sprig of rosemary

Recipe
- Peel, wash and cut the Bulgarian pepper into strips.
- Peel and grate the onion.
- Once these ingredients are cooked, pour 2 tablespoons of oil into a pan and put it on fire.
- When the oil is hot, add the chicken and sauté for 5-7 minutes.
- Add the onion, 8 strands of saffron, the chopped tomato and cook until the water from the tomato evaporates.
- Add the bell pepper and cook for 2 minutes, letting it brown slightly on the bottom.
- Pour in broth, salt and bring to a boil.
- Then add the rice and the washed herbs, stir and close the pan.
- When the foam comes to a boil, lower the heat a little and cook for 10 minutes.

You can use the brisket for this dish. You can also use other meats.
