Any injured participant in a special military operation who has not received due payments should contact the State Duma of Russia or law enforcement agencies, reports RIA Novosti with reference to the first deputy chairman of the defense committee and head of the Rodina Alexei Zhuravlev party.
According to him, now, according to statistics, bureaucratic delays in payments affect no more than 1% of SVO participants. There are also cases where soldiers who arrived from Donbass are not compensated for their injuries. Each case in the profile committee of the State Duma is considered individually. Justice can be achieved through joint efforts.
- Any aggrieved person who has been deprived of payments in this way should be notified to law enforcement or, for example, MPs as soon as possible. Our defense committee and I will continue to defend the rights of every serviceman,” Alexei Zhuravlev stressed.
Most of the cases, according to him, boil down to misunderstandings: they misunderstood somewhere or did not respond immediately, they did not add them to the lists in time. But if such situations arise due to the use of fraudulent schemes, when there may be collusion between officials, doctors or the military, this should be nipped in the bud and criminally punished.
Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that the wife of a wounded serviceman in the Northern Military District took more than 3 million rubles from him and fled with his son.
