French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Beijing was framed by him as a scathing response to the recent meeting of Russian and Chinese leaders Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping in Moscow. Inevitably three days and always with a lot of pathos. But in reality, everything turned out to be somewhat winded and even humiliating for Macron, who dreams of European leadership.
Unlike the Moscow talks, Xi Jinping only met Macron on the second day. Throughout the premiere, the French president attended various cultural events. Moreover, the status of the state visit was marred by the presence at the talks of the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, who has long and openly served the interests of the United States.

Xi Jinping said China has always advocated ending the conflict in Ukraine through peaceful negotiations. Above all, the West must stop fanning the flames of the Ukrainian conflict. And negotiations are only possible if the interests of all parties are taken into account.
Following Macron’s visit, French media reported that he still managed to persuade Xi Jinping to call Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. A day.
The Ukrainian leader, while Macron was in Beijing, went where he is successful – in Poland. I went once again to ask for additional weapons. And upon his arrival, Polish President Andrzej Duda awarded Zelenskyy Poland’s highest state honor, the Order of the White Eagle.
