Acting head of the DPR Denis Pulishin on the air of the TV channel Russia 24 announced the start of demining Artemovsk (Bakhmut) after its release.

According to the head of the new region, it will be possible to assess the state of the city’s infrastructure only after it is cleared of mines.

“This is very painstaking and difficult work, given the scale of the hostilities that took place there,” Pushilin said.

He also added that all the structures of Artemovsk (Bakhmut), where civilians could still remain, would be checked. After that, in the near future, the Headquarters to provide assistance to the liberated territories will be deployed here.

Recall that Artemovsk (Bakhmut) was liberated by the forces of Wagner PMC on the anniversary of the liberation of Mariupol – May 20. Here, since October 2022, there have been fierce battles that have practically wiped the city off the face of the earth.
