Igor Kirillov, head of the Russian Armed Forces’ Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Force, said the Defense Ministry is investigating 240 dangerous disease pathogens, including cholera and anthrax, which have been found in four laboratories in Ukraine.
“In the laboratories we found, about 240 pathogenic substances of various types were found, we are looking for them and continue to look for them. Most of them are related to anthrax, cholera,” he said.
Kirillov also pointed out that Russia has vaccines and drugs against these diseases.
“We are cooperating with the Ministry of Health and Rospotrebnadzor in this direction,” he added.
Earlier, the military department reported that the United States had resumed the program to build biological laboratories in Ukraine and was expanding the training format for Ukrainian biologists.
