City authorities note that in the spring, when car owners begin to re-equip their cars with summer tires, landfills, squares and forests are replenished with discarded tires. This is reported by the official telegram channel of the Kaliningrad administration.
Although sometimes citizens use automobile waste to lay out front yards and gardens, it pollutes nature and has a bad effect on the ecology of the city. Therefore, the specialists of the municipal control committee search for discarded tires in the adjacent territories and try to get the management companies to dispose of them.
The administration pointed out that the cost of recycling car tires increases every year: for example, in 2022, Chistota MBU disposed of 137.95 tons of car tires. This year, 50.32 tons of car tires have already been disposed of in the amount of 578,680 rubles.
Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Kaliningrad reported that folk trails on Upper Lake have been legalized in Kaliningrad.
