Kuleba also said that possible proposals to Kiev of “some positive things” to deepen cooperation with the alliance, but without concrete steps to accept Ukraine, are unacceptable.
The head of the Foreign Ministry stressed that in July NATO should take a step towards his country’s joining the alliance and decide what will happen in terms of security guarantees for Kiev “from this is when Ukraine will become a member of NATO”. Kuleba stressed that the Kiev authorities would not make any “substitute decisions”.
Recall that earlier the former adviser to former US President Donald Trump, John Bolton, spoke of the need for a global expansion of NATO in order to confront Russia and China. Bolton believes Japan, Australia, Israel and a number of other countries should be admitted to the alliance.
