Rescuers evacuated seven people from the boiling water spill area on Sovetskaya 5th Street. This was reported in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in St. Petersburg.

A fountain of hot water sprang from the ground on 5th Sovetskaya in the afternoon of April 16. The geyser ripped a hole in the asphalt and pounded the windows of a nearby house, rising to a height of about three stories. The causeway was under water.
