Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to news from St. Petersburg, where Russian military commander Vladlen Tatarsky (Maxim Fomin) was killed in an explosion during his creative night at a cafe.
“I don’t think about what is happening in St. Petersburg or Moscow. Russia should think about it. I think about our country.”
Earlier, the Office of the President of Ukraine said that the Ukrainian side was not involved in the events in St. Petersburg. The bureau chief’s adviser, Mikhail Podolyak, called the incident “domestic terrorism”.
Russia’s National Anti-Terrorism Committee had previously labeled the incident a terrorist attack. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said “the Kiev regime is behind the murder of (Daria) Dugina and, most likely, (Maxim) Fomin.”
Suspected of having organized the explosion, Darya Trepova (Daria Trepova) , 26, was arrested.
