New Delhi. In the last 24 hours, seven patients died of corona in the country and 920 active cases of infection have increased. So far 2,20,66,27,271 people have been vaccinated in the country.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday, the number of active cases has increased to 6,1233. The total number of infected in the country has increased to 4,48,34,859, while the number of dead has increased to 5,31,152. In the same period, the number of people recovering from corona infection has increased by 6,702 to reach 4,42,42,474.
Chhattisgarh has seen the maximum increase of 381 active cases in the country during the last 24 hours. Apart from this, 220 in Haryana, 279 in Uttar Pradesh, 208 in Rajasthan, 171 in Maharashtra, 135 in Tamil Nadu, 130 in Odisha. 53 in Bihar, 36 in Himachal Pradesh, 28 in Punjab, 19 in Madhya Pradesh, 15 in Jharkhand, Telangana has reported 11 cases, Uttarakhand eight, Tripura six, Assam three, Arunachal Pradesh two, Meghalaya and Mizoram one each.
Apart from this, in the last 24 hours, the maximum decline of 321 corona cases has been registered in Delhi. During the same period, there has been a decrease in the number of corona cases in Karnataka to 172, Kerala to 134, Gujarat to 94, and other states including Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Manipur, Nagaland, Puducherry and Sikkim.
