Actress Emma Watson got unusually personal on Saturday as she celebrated her 33rd birthday. There, she reported that her life had recently changed a lot for the better. Emma had previously been on hiatus from Instagram since December.
“It’s 33. Jemin. Until I was 29, I hadn’t even heard of ‘Saturn Return’ as a term.”
The actress refers to an astrological phenomenon that refers to when the planet Saturn returns to the same spot in the sky it was in when people were born. This happens around people’s thirtieth birthday. In astrology, this event is considered the final step towards adulthood, and people at this time often go through a hardship or baptism of fire that completely separates them from their youth and marks the beginning of adulthood. Saturn then returns when people reach their sixties, and then the next stage of development takes over – the stage of wisdom.
Apparently, the actress has been studying astrology lately.
She then revealed that during this time she learned to surf, ride horses, go to psychotherapy, adopt a dog, attend Harry Potter meetings, lose her grandparents and look back.
She injured her finger and had to work with one hand for months.
“I also became sad and angry about a lot of things. I learned more about love and being a woman. It took me three years, but I finally found a daily routine that I can stick to for more than a few days at a time. I burned a few things. I eat green now. I was overwhelmed with designing Squarespace landing pages. I made my first ad .
Along with the post, she then shared a photo of herself taken on her birthday last year. Then she was still self-isolating due to COVID and not ready to come out of that shell.
Emma thanked the “witches” in her clan for helping her get to where she is today and for helping her figure out who she is.
“You are my Avengers and you inspire me and kick my ass. It takes a village, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.”
