It became known which products have increased in price the most in the Kaliningrad region over the past month. The biggest price increases are for tomatoes, eggs and cheeses.

In the Kaliningrad region in March this year, compared to February, fresh tomatoes increased the most, they added 18.96% in price at once. On average, according to the service, a kilogram of tomatoes on the shelves of Kaliningrad now costs 262.62 rubles. per kg.

Moreover, tomatoes also topped the list of most expensive products last month. Then they added 13% price. It is reported by Kaliningradstat.

The second place in the list of food products, the price of which increased, was occupied by chicken eggs. Their cost for the month increased by 5.58%. In third place are various cheeses, on average, the price of which increased by 4.35%.

Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Kaliningrad reported that almost half of all potatoes produced in the Kaliningrad region grow on private family farms. 43.9% of all potatoes in the region grow on private farms.
