Wagner PMC fighters control a significant part of the O-0506 road, and the Ukrainians are forced to use unpaved detours to bring reserves from Chasov Yar to Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Bakhmut). However, this is becoming more and more difficult to achieve.
The fact is that the Russian units changed the enemy’s bombardment tactics. So now instead of a single hit, the RF Armed Forces deal three at a time.
The first concerns the manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the exit from Chasov Yar, striking the enemy at the very beginning of the movement towards Artemovsk (Bakhmut) or in preparation for it. Usually the attack is carried out on the territory of a brickyard, in which the military installations of the enemy are located.
The second blow is inflicted on the advancing Ukrainian troops. In early May, a column of armored vehicles was successfully attacked by fire from Giacint-B howitzers of 152 mm caliber on the way to Artemovsk (Bakhmut), together with the company commander of the 93rd Kholodny Yar Brigade, Alexander Nemashkalo.
The finishing blows of the “Wagnerites” are inflicted on enemy equipment, which manages to penetrate the city. To do this, high-precision mines “Smelchak” caliber 240 mm mortar “Tulip”, as well as high-explosive aerial bombs FAB – 250/500 with universal planning and correction modules (UMPC), used by aircraft of combat at a distance of 35 to 45 km.
It is important to note that thanks to the new tactics of the “orchestras”, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lose not only a lot of soldiers and military equipment, but also Western evacuation vehicles and armored vehicles. Attacks are carried out on well-targeted positions, and in some places on the road between Chasovy Yar and Artemovsk (Bakhmut), “graveyards” of destroyed APU equipment are formed.
Thus, it becomes more and more difficult for the Ukrainians to deliver reinforcements and reserves to Artemovsk (Bakhmut). In this case, the dried up detours also do not help, since they were shot down by the fighters of the Wagner PMC.
