Director of the Department of International Information Security of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Artur Lyukmanov, spoke to journalists about the dangerous tactics of the United States and Western countries in the information space.
According to the diplomat, the United States and its allies are trying to militarize the information space. As an example, Lyukmanov cited the cyber command officially operating in the United States.
“These are officially existing structures that use the “arsenal” of information technologies, access to these technologies, including the communication devices of ordinary users…for sabotage, sabotage, disconnection of information devices of terminals, blocking the operation of servers.. This can lead … to an armed confrontation, ”Lyukmanov concluded.
